Step 1: Set up an appointment to discuss the project

Island Decks can be out to meet with you and survey the area within 24 hours. Our estimator can generally provide you a written estimate immediately.  

Step 2: Present Proposal

Island Decks will follow-up with a typed proposal detailing all aspects of the job.  Depending on the complexity of the project, Island Decks will return all proposals within a day or two of first meeting. 

Step 3: Contract

Simple. Direct. Uncomplicated. The whole process should take 5-10 minutes. A signature, a copy of the plot plan of your home, and a deposit begins your project.

Step 4: Construction

Although there are certainly many exceptions, the typical deck should take three to five days to build.

                            a.   ISLAND DECKS acquires permit. 
   
                            b.   Footings dug, inspected, poured and lumber delivered.

                            c.  Deck Framed (Second draw due - 1/3 of total)*

                            d.  Remaining work completed (Contract balance due)*
